My (very ‘amateur-ly’ taken) 2009 Europe Pictures: Switzerland and Paris

Hi everyone, I just want to say that I’m terribly sorry that I can’t really give you much details of Switzerland and Paris since it’s been 8 years since I’ve last stepped into these places so for now, I am just going to post a slide of pictures for you guys to enjoy. Perhaps next time when I go back there again, I’ll do a detailed travel review because right now I only remember 5-10% of my travel and I don’t think it’s fair for me to write a travel review on something I don’t know much about or something I can’t quite remember well.

All of my pictures were shot by a Canon Digital IXUS 110 15, yes it is such an ancient device! It has a megapixel of 12.2. I also have to apologise that the pictures aren’t the most well-taken. Back in 2009, taking pictures weren’t really an ‘in’ thing. And I was like 12… so… you get my drift!

Some of the notable places I remember: Matterhorn Zermatt, Bern Switzerland and Interlacken! We took a plane (yes I took Singapore Airlines) to Zurich, but we had to take a train to Interlacken and Zermatt!

I honestly can’t remember much about Paris, other than Champ Elysees and some museums… but it was quite a beautiful place, but to be super frank, it’s not somewhere I would personally want to live in. Food was quite a problem too, because I don’t really favour french food. Serving was small, and the price was so expensive! There aren’t many photographs because I reckon my family and I spent about 2 to 3 days in Paris, before flying back to Singapore.

I hope these pictures entertained you guys a little! This was really all I had taken in 2009. I feel like telling my 12 year old self, to snap more pictures! But then again who knew I would even start a travel blog? In the meantime, stay tuned for my last post as part of the Hong Kong Trilogy.

With Love always,
